Fine, let's get started. To create this PDF file we will use the Software from PDF995. This software can be downloaded for free at www.pdf995.com. There are two files you should download, the pdf995s and ps2pdf995.

Pdf995s is the software while ps2pdf995 is the driver software. So, installation sequence is pdf995s first and then we install ps2pdf995. Do not be reversed, to avoid the things that are not desired.

If already installed, we can use it easily. Its use is the same as using normal printer (the physical printer). Because, basically, pdf995 is a virtual printer. So to produce a pdf file that tracks the same way we would print the document. It's just the printer selection box, choose pdf995 printer and then print and be our pdf file. You also can set the page layout by selecting 'Options'. Please note the following images,


Any files that can be printed using the physical printer, can we make the PDF format with this software. Just pick the pdf995 printer when you want to make PDF file.

Farmville Developers Want Out of Facebook

Zynga intend to break away entirely from Facebook. This Farmville game developer is rumored to be making their own gaming portal.

A report from an unnamed source revealed, initially Facebook asks Zynga still join on Facebook and sign an agreement for a period long enough.

But they failed to find a deal when Facebook decided to disable notification for Farmville, even threatened to stop all Zynga games.

When confirmed, the Facebook spokesman denied this. Quoted from the site IGN, Sunday (09/05/2010), the spokesman was evasive by saying that Facebook does not comment on specific discussions and more communication with all developers.

"But in general, our priority is to ensure a quality experience for Facebook users while encouraging a dynamic and innovative environment that offers significant opportunity for all developers on the Facebook platform," he explained.

About Spiderman

Spider-Man is a fictional Marvel Comics superhero. The character was created by writer-editor Stan Lee and writer-artist Steve Ditko. He first appeared in Amazing Fantasy #15 (Aug. 1962). Memperpanjang Umur Hardisk

Seiring dengan berjalannya waktu, komputer kita pasti akan mengalami penurunan kinerja. Hal ini memang tidak bisa kita hindarkan. Karena semua barang elektronik itu ya tidak akan bertahan terlalu lama. Jadi untuk menyiasati, paling tidak agar barang elektronik semisal komputer itu berumur lebih lama dan tetap bisa bekerja optimal, maka kita harus pandai-pandai merawatnya. Semakin kita sayang komputer, maka komputer itu juga akan bertambah sayang kepada kita. hehe..

Kali ini, saya akan membahas tentang Keep Hardisk Age ato memelihara umur hardisk. (Nggaya ik pake english segala,hehe")

Berikut, saya sajikan tips-tips yang berdasarkan pengalaman, berguna dalam hal perawatan Hardisk.

1. Bersihkan file sampah
   
   File-file yang kita hapus secara biasa tidak akan langsung hilang dari Hardisk melainkan hanya berpindah tempat dari folder asal, ke Recycle Bin. File-file ini juga bisa kita kembalikan lagi bila memang masih dibutuhkan.
   
   Nah, untuk membersihkan file-file di Recycle Bin ini, bisa kita lakukan dengan meng-klik kanan Icon Recycle Bin dan pilih Empty Recycle Bin. Jika sudah di "empty" seperti tadi maka file-file itu sudah hilang dari hardisk dan dari dunia ini.
   
   
   
   

   File-file sampah ini tidak hanya ada pada Recycle Bin lho.. Karena selama dalam penggunaan komputer ada kalanya terjadi Error, maka Microsoft pun menyediakan laporan kerusakan suatu program di sebuah folder khusus yang juga memakan ruang hardisk.
   

   Dan ada juga file-file sementara (temporary file) yang mengurangi space hardisk. File-file ini biasanya berekstensi *.tmp, *.BAK dan sebagainya.
   

   Dan lagi, ada file-file Cookies dan History yang selalu "tercipta" ketika kita menggunakan browser internet, seperti Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Opera, Netscape dan lain sebagainya. File-file ini juga lumayan memakan tempat di hardisk. Maka dari itu, kita bisa menghapusnya lewat browser yang sering kita gunakan.
   
   Kalo di Mozilla Firefox, kita bisa menghapusnya lewat menu Tools - Option, pilih tab Privacy. Lalu, pada klik tulisan "clear recent history" untuk menghapus history dan klik tulisan "remove individual cookies" untuk menghapus cookies, pilih "Remove all Cookies" bila ingin menghapus semua cookies yang tersimpan atau cari cookies tertentu lalu remove.
   
   
   
   
   
   
   

   NB: ada cara yang lebih mudah untuk menghapus file-file sampah seperti yang disebutkan di atas yaitu dengan memanfaatkan fasilitas Disk CleanUp dari Windows. Fasilitas ini bisa diakses melalui Start - All Program - Accessories - System Tools dan pilih Disk Cleanup, pilih drive yang akan dibersihkan dan tekan OK. Tunggu beberapa saat sampai muncul kotak dialog Disk CleanUp. Klik ok untuk membersihkan file-file yang oleh Windows dianggap tidak berguna.
   
   
   
   
   Ket: Yang dilingkari merah adalah total file yang bisa dibersihkan dari hardisk jika tombol OK ditekan.
   

2. Cek dan Tata Ulang (Defragment) Hardisk
   

   Agar tidak terlalu jenuh, hardisk juga perlu kita Cek. Ini berfungsi sebagai penyegaran terhadap hardisk. Untuk mengecek Hardisk bisa melalui Klik kanan pada partisi drive (drive D) misalnya, lalu kita pilih Properties, pilih tab Tools dan klik Chek Now, centang pilihan "Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sector" klik OK dan tunggu sampai proses chek disk selesai.
   
   
   
   
   
   
   

   Penataan file yang tersimpan di hardisk juga perlu kita lakukan. Karena selama digunakan itu hardisk mengalami penambahan dan pengurangan (penghapusan) file maka secara otomatis pun penataan filenya berantakan. Dan, untuk merapikan file-file itu kita bisa menggunakan fasilitas Disk Defragmenter yang disediakan Windows. Menu ini ada di bawah menu Check Now tadi, yaitu Defragment Now.

Posisi Terbaik Saat Mengetik

Agar tidak cepat lelah mengetik, kita perlu memposisikan diri agar terasa nyaman. Ini akan sangat membantu, apalagi jika pekerjaan kita masih menumpuk. Dan secara otomatis tenaga pun masih dibutuhkan untuk melakukan pekerjaan-pekerjaan lain.

Berikut, saya paparkan tips Posisi Terbaik Saat Mengetik:

• Posisi Tubuh
  Badan pada posisi tegak didepan komputer dan jarak pandang antara mata dan monitor sekitar 45-70cm. Ini bertujuan agar badan tidak cepat lelah dan mata tidak terlalu pedas, menghadapi layar monitor (terutama monitor tabung).
  
  
• Letak dan Posisi Komputer
  Posisikan keyboard, monitor, dan mouse agar bisa kita jangkau dan bisa kita operasikan dengan mudah. Usahakan juga keyboard tidak terlalu tinggi atau terlalu rendah. Karena bila terlalu tinggi, lengan kita akan menggantung dan ini bisa menyebabkan lengan kita cepat lelah/pegal. Dan bila terlalu rendah, jari-jari kita akan tidak leluasa memencet tuts-tuts keyboard.
  
  Sesuaikanlah keyboard, mouse dan monitor agar anda merasa nyaman.
  
• Penggunaan Mouse
  Ketika menggunakan mouse usahakan agar pergelangan tangan berada pada posisi tidak menggantung atau lebih rendah dari mouse. Usahakan agar posisinya sejajar antara pergelangan tangan dan mouse.
  
  
• Penggunan Keyboard
  Seperti pada penggunaan mouse, ketika menggunakan keyboard usahakan agar selalu sejajar seperti terlihat pada gambar berikut.
  
  

Itulah Posisi Terbaik Saat Mengetik. Namun, Posisi yang saya paparkan di atas bukanlah sebuah keharusan. Itu hanya merupakan saran yang bisa dijadikan acuan, karena tentu saja posisi terbaik adalah posisi dimana Anda merasa nyaman dengan posisi itu sendiri.

Tips dan Tricks Mengetik Cepat

Mengetik (meng-ketik)merupakan keterampilan yang terlihat sepele. Karena keterampilan ini memang sudah dikuasai kita (sebagai pengguna komputer), jadi kebanyakan dari kita tidak terlalu pusing berfikir untuk lebih menguasai keterampilan yang satu ini. Namun sobat, yang saya ingin sharing di sini adalah Bagaimana agar kita bisa Mengetik lebih Cepat.

Selain tentang Tips dan Tricks Mengetik Cepat, saya juga ingin sharing tentang bagaimana menggunakan Ms. Word agar kita bisa mengoptimalkan fungsi-fungsi pengetikan yang disediakan olehnya. Disini saya tidak akan sembarang bicara mengenai Tips dan Tricks mengenai dunia pengetikan ini, karena saya hanya akan sharing tentang hal-hal yang benar-benar saya ketahui dan sudah saya praktekan.

Bagi pelajar atau mahasiswa yang memang sering diberi 'jatah' tugas dari Guru atau Dosennya pasti kebanyakan harus diketik menggunakan komputer. Nah, disini kita bisa "belajar bareng" agar dalam pembuatan tugas-tugas itu semakin mudah dan cepat.

Tidak ada kehebatan yang bisa kita banggakan pada diri kita, kecuali Ketrampilan menghargai orang lain. Karena bagaimanapun di atas langit, masih ada langit. Marilah kita selalu bersama-sama mengoreksi kekurangan-kekurangan yang ada pada diri masing-masing.
